You’ve most likely been listening to rather a lot about threats to public lands in current weeks, as Congress has been debating whether or not or to not dump federally owned land to the states. Properly, Kirk Deeter of Angling Trade has some fairly sturdy opinions about this concept:
[W]hat units the American angler aside from virtually another on the planet is that we’ve got tens of millions of acres and 1000’s of miles of fishable streams (and lakes) which might be accessible to us as a birthright. I’ve fished all around the globe and have loved each minute of doing so.
