Whereas Nationwide Park vacationers usually neglect that wildlife routinely hunt and kill other animals to outlive, it’s one factor that makes wildlife watching in locations like Yellowstone Nationwide Park so fascinating. Like wild animals all over the place, these critters stay and die by the predator-prey relationship — documented in most of the images beneath. This assortment was taken by Nationwide Park Service photographers, who’ve captured federal public lands and wild critters throughout the Western U.S.
